This is to remind or inform you all of the next gathering of the Climate study group: we agreed to meet again, same time, same place, on October 17, 2026.
This time two of our own participants will provide information and lead discussion on climate issues.
Dr. Bob Panabaker will tell us about new awareness of problems concerning WATER SUPPLY, especially regarding depleted aquifers and the rising level of the oceans.
Dr. David Hitchcock will tell us about A PLAN TO GET TO NET ZERO BY 2050, presented to Hamilton's climate change office for Canadian provinces and territories, focusing on electricity generation, transportation and buildings. As ever, we try to keep Climate Change on a front burner, as a time when the whole issue is being marginalized. We try to stay abreast of information and developments, seeking to be informed, constructive citizens on this growing and worsening crisis.
