Welcome Rev. Alison Nicholson:
East Plains is pleased to welcome Rev. Alison Nicholson as minister beginning June 1, 2012. Alison is the eldest of three daughters born to Rev. Francis Chisholm and Connie (Watson) and immigrated to Canada from Scotland in 1955. She attended McMaster University and worked at Hamilton Place and HECFI for 20 years. In 1997 she left Hamilton Place and enrolled at Emmanuel College graduating in 2001. She has served in a multi point rural charge in Saskatchewan, in Canfield/Canborough, served as appointed supply at Mount Hamilton United, Barton Stone United, Olivet United and recently at Lyden and Troy. More biographical detail will appear in our Spring Newsletter.
